INTERNATIONAL LAW WEEK 2019
International Law Week is an annual event held by the International Law Student Association in collaboration with Department of International Law, Faculty of Law Universitas Airlangga.
Each year ILW brings forth new theme and event sequence for one week in a month. This year's ILW will be held on 2 September - 7 September 2019
WHAT IS ILW?
International Law Week is a catalyst, a platform, a facilitator, that connects students to international legal issues, experience, and opportunities.

The Head Committee of International Law Week 2019
In my very first year in university, I was invited to join International Law Week 2018.
It helps me a lot. It changed my perspective on law, it widened my view on fields of work I can pursue that is not limited by conventional boxes. It broadens my international network as well. Because of that, I am truly grateful to be able to participate in International Law Week 2019.
I hope ILW 2019 can be your highlight, just like how ILW 2018 becomes my highlight
THIS YEAR'S EVENT
International Law Week 2019 consists of six main events:
OPENING INTERNATIONAL LAW WEEK 2019
Monday, 2nd September 2019
The opening of International Law Week is open for all. The participating individual will have the chance to meet with the representatives of International Law Week partner and supporter
STUDY VISIT
Thursday, 5th September 2019
United States Consulate General and Goethe-Institut Indonesia will host International Law Week’s Study Visit participants.
They have prepared lists of keynote speakers, amongst all, the United States Diplomats, Goethe-Institut Head of Language Office, the Head of Goethe-Institut Surabaya, who’s excited to welcome and educate the participants on various of international matters.
The aim for the study visit is to bring insight for the participating students, knowledge on various of studying opportunities to United States of America and Federal Republic of Germany, and also to know the variety of legal field the students may pursue in the future.
TOEFL - IELTS PREPARATION AND TEST
WITH THE BRITISH INSTITUTE
Saturday, 7th September 2019
This event targets University students and High School students
This year’s test and preparation was held in collaboration with The British Institute Surabaya. The participating students will earn mentorship from one of the leading English institution in Indonesia to tackle not only TOEFL, but also IELTS and other English proficiency test.
The British Institute would also gave the participants standardised English Language Evaluation Placement Certificate that the students can used as reference and threshold for future tests.
ILSA INDONESIA VISIT

This year, the International Law Student Association Universitas Negeri Semarang will visit the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga
INTENTION 2019
INTERNATIONAL NEGOTIATION DISPUTE COMPETITION
13 September - 15 September 2019
Intention is a national-wide competition dedicated to promote one of alternative dispute resolution, negotiation. The competition is open to all undergraduate majors and fields who are interested in resolving international dispute through negotiation.
The Champion of this year's competition will earn an internship from Indonesian Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
